Materials: Coiled tan woven straw, brown cotton gros-grain ribbon.

Condition: Excellent to Perfect.

Measurements: Oval 8" x 5.5"; 4" Ht.

Comments: In the 1860s Godey's Lady's book was advertising  military inspired toque hats similar to this straw one. A wonderful shape, hats of this type were worn tilted slightly forward over the brow. This straw toque is shown with the calico skirt #2088.
