Condition: Lacework perfect; very faint small brown tint in two places. Measurements: 2 yards 6 inches long x 6.25 inches deep. Comments: Brussels bobbin lace with insets of Point de Gaz needlelace is called either Duchesse lace or mixed Brussels lace. The bobbin lace is very clearly worked with flower and foliage designs. The Point de Gaz tilted oval medallions each have a single rose within the center. A beautiful piece of late 19th century lace.
