Materials: Pink suede, brass, painted
metal and rhinestone jewels, sky blue cord wrapped with metallic gold,
pink kid leather, tan suede, white canvas twill lining.
Provenance: Pumps belonged to socialite
Georgie Smith Young Ridgley Hebbard Wilkins. Georgie was born in San
Francisco, c. 1906. She lived in Baltimore, New York City and Paris
before moving to Beacon Hill, Boston where she lived for over 50 years
until her death in 2001.
Label: Stamped in green in lining,
"Joseph Antell". Size inked in black, "5 1/2
M".
Condition: Excellent. The pink
suede along the front bottom edge of shoes needs to be cleaned; all
trims perfect condition.
Measurements: Insole L, 9.25"; Wd,
3"; Heel, 2.5". Size 5 1/2 M.
Comments: These Joseph Antell jeweled
suede pumps are as stylish today as they were 50 years
