Condition: Perfect. Brass chain may not
be original to bag; small darker pink stain in lining.

Comments: Identical 18th century scene
on front and back of this wonderful pettipoint bag. Set in a woodland
glade, an elegant suitor, accompanied by a lute player, sings to three
beautiful women. The finely worked figural scene is set in a scrolling
frame filled with roses, ribbons and lattice. The magnificent
workmanship, unusually large size and perfect condition make this bag a
rare find. |
