Condition: Excellent. Measurements: 5.25" wide, 64" long. Comments: Finely worked Italian needle lace flounce is completely worked by hand with thousands of tiny button hole stitches. The sculptural design motif is made up of scrolls, foliage, and flowers which includes pomegranates, lilies and tulips. A variety of elaborate and delicate needle lace patterns fill the interiors of these designs. A classic early piece of Point de Venise.
