#809 - Miser's Purse,  1870's

Materials: Cotton yarn, cut steel beads and ring.

Condition: Excellent.

Measurements: 2 1/4" x 12", not including fringes.

Comments: Miser's purses were made to be worn over a belt.  The center ring slides along the length of the purse allowing access through the center opening.  This purse is hand knit.
